10 Actors Who Have Never Made A Sequel

2. Jodie Foster

Even though she once had the chance to make a sequel, Jodie Foster turned the opportunity down, and to this day, she hasn't reprised a single one of her roles.

Arguably her best acting performance to date came in 1991's The Silence Of The Lambs, for which she won the Oscar for Best Actress. A decade later, a sequel titled Hannibal was produced, but when Foster declined the project (she was busy with another movie), her character was instead played by Julianne Moore.

This aside, few of Foster's films feel like they could lead to a sequel. Getting more Hotel Artemis would be cool, but since the first one bombed, that's unlikely. Elsewhere, a followup to her 2013 sci-fi film Elysium has been discussed, but since she died at the end of that movie, it would be quite hard for her character to return.

Furthermore, Foster's acting work has taken a backseat to her directing work in recent years, with her movie roles becoming more and more intermittent. As a result, it doesn't really feel like there will be a sequel in her future - but never say never.

In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show.
