After spending a glorious 66 years occupying this spinning ball of chaos, you'd forgive the mighty Willem Dafoe for wanting to take it easy in his later life.

However, when faced with the chance to reignite his love affair with one particularly menacing goblin for Spider-Man: No Way Home, the star decided that he wanted to get his Norman Osborn's hands as dirty as possible.

When talking about the one condition he had during his discussions about returning for the MCU mega-flick, Dafoe noted how he didn't want to just "fill in in close-ups", hinting at wanting as little body double work as possible when physically performing as the Green Goblin:

"I want to do the action because that's fun for me. And also, it's really impossible to just add any integrity or any fun to the character if you don't participate in these things."

Though it's clear that Dafoe was swapped out for some of the more extreme acrobatics and physicality on show in the flick, taking many a punch from Spidey and laughing hysterically like only he can was most definitely all Willem here, folks.
