3. Tony Todd - Final Destination

Tony Todd is undeniably best known for playing the titular antagonist in the Candyman franchise, yet as great as the first movie is, by the time the third movie went straight-to-video in 1999, it was safe to say that the mainstream had largely lost interest.

But the very next year, Todd secured himself a role in a horror film which would go on to become a pop-culture phenomenon in its own right - Final Destination.

Todd played the small but memorable role of creepy mortician William Bludworth, a character who fans quickly speculated had an intimate link with Death given his suspicious knowledge of the villain's methods.

A brief but flashy part, it reminded Candyman fans just how deliciously creepy Todd could be while introducing him to a new generation of teens who'd never even heard of Candyman.

Todd reprised the role in the second and fifth films, and in the 20 years since the original has enjoyed a career resurgence playing more than 150 bit-parts across TV and film. Best of all, he's also set to reprise the role of Candyman in the upcoming sequel.
