11 Actors Who Should Play Spider-Man In Captain America: Civil War

5. Daniel Radcliffe

The Boy Who Lived could well have been the latest Mark Hamill type, cursed to be forever tied to one character and one fandom for life, but he's ploughed himself into a lot of broad projects since graduating from Hogwarts and is yet to really see his ability put in question. Pros Despite every sinew screaming foul, Radcliffe is genuinely a good actor. He's a lot better than he was in the first Harry Potter films (which he seemed to be cast in more for his face than any discernible talent), and he's grown a lot recently because of the need to cast off Potter's shadow. And if Sony want an immediate audience - and lots of ready made PR (good or bad, it's still publicity) - they could do a lot worse than casting Harry Potter. Cons He might just be too far towards the extreme end of the nerd scale - even though he has shown that he's not averse to getting his Gryffindor out when the role requires it.
