10 Actors Who Suffered The Most In 2016

1. Johnny Depp

Oh, Johnny, where the hell did it all go wrong? Formerly one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation, who was known for taking on small, quirky projects, Depp is now contended to accept outrageous sums for performing the same tired routine in nearly every movie.

Audiences grew weary of this routine long ago, and in the last few years he’s left behind a trail of pricey duds; The Lone Ranger, Transcendence and Mortdecai to name a few. He didn’t try much harder in 2016 either, smearing himself in white face paint once more for Alice Through The Looking Glass. Whereas the original grossed over a billion worldwide, Looking Glass took less than $300 million total.

For reasons known only to him and god, he also reprised his role as Guy Lapointe in Kevin Smith’s wretched Yoga Hosers. He previously played the same part in Tusk, which critics considered his worst performance ever. Even his appearance in Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them was slated, and he was only a quick cameo.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
