Towards the start of the pandemic hitting in 2020, Zach Braff and Donald Faison took to the podcast world, bringing to life 'Fake Doctors, Real Friends'. Here, the two BFFs rewatch episodes of Scrubs one by one and dissect them, but they talk about so much more in each episode.
One recurring theme is just how much of a nerd Donald Faison is. He is obsessed with Star Wars and would love to join the live action universe, after already portraying the animated Hype Fazon in Star Wars: Resistance, but he would also love a role in the MCU.
Famously claiming that, should Kevin Feige wish to call on him for a role in the future, he would need just a month to get in shape and he would be good to go. Outside of Scrubs, Faison has some seriously strong acting credits to his name, arguably most notably Remember the Titans, and could bring something different to the MCU.
When speaking to Flash and Scrubs star Tom Kavanagh on the podcast, Faison said he would also love to join the Arrowverse as Green Lantern someday. While he hasn’t yet specified any particular Marvel character he has his eyes on, this wouldn't stop him from taking a meeting with Kevin Feige and co. should the opportunity arise.
