Say what you will about Jared Leto's Joker in Suicide Squad, but none can question his dedication to the role. The Dallas Buyers Club star went full method for the part, staying in character in between shoots - in other words, acting insane the whole time.

Word has it that he sent his co-stars all kinds of bizarre gifts, the kind of presents only Gotham's Clown Prince of Crime would bestow on his colleagues. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje received a "sticky Playboy magazine" and Margot Robbie a live rat.

There were also reports of him sending out used condoms, anal beads and a dead hog to his co-stars. A line was crossed somewhere between all of that, though it wasn't the live rat incident, as Robbie is said to have taken quite a shine to the creature.

Director David Ayer allegedly had to bring a psychiatrist to the set of Suicide Squad as a result of Leto's crazy antics. It's unclear whether that was for the Joker actor's benefit or the rest of the cast and crew's.
