10 Actors Who Will No Longer Work Together

Though the endgame is always to try and produce the most compelling and engaging performance possible, not every actor approaches their work in the same way. Some like to rehearse their lines relentlessly, and bring what has been pitched and worked on in the script to life in a scene. While others prefer a more loose approach, improvising and scatting around the agreed upon text.

Yet, these two opposed ways of getting the job done don't always mesh well together during the making of a movie, as evidenced when Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn frequently clashed on the set of Four Christmases.

While Vaughn would rock up for a scene five minutes before, ready to riff his way through the scenario, Witherspoon would be on set early with her lines ready to go and wanting to block through sequences with her co-star. As you'd expect, the contrasting performers did not hit it off, so much so that a proposed sex scene between the two was scrapped from the feature in the end.

They may have been civil when asked about their rift by the press, but there's a reason these two stars have been kept well apart in the years since.
