I always forget that Halle Berry is an Academy Award-winner for the same reasons that I forget Nicolas Cage is one, too: there's so much sh*t to associate them with nowadays, it's near-on impossible to remember that once upon a time they were considered to be, like, actually good actors. And Halle Berry's fall from grace came so quickly: she had less than a year to enjoy her Oscar win for
Monster's Ball, and then she made some of the worst decisions ever. And I'm talking
worst decisions ever. I don't know how or why it happened the way it did. Firstly, she ruined Bond with a horrific performance in
Die Another Day. And then there was
Catwoman. Halle Berry decided to star in
Catwoman, and gave a performance so bad (in a movie so horrible that words can't describe it) that it's rumoured Oscar actually considered taking her Award back. So Halle Berry went from accepting an Oscar one year, to accepting a Razzie For Worst Actress a few later. She even made a joke about it. But she's not joking now. Not for a minute, because her filmography is embarrassing. Really, it is. Take a look.
