Yet another case of miraculous resurrection (more on that subject later), Carrie Anne Moss' action heroine/ love interest Trinity is confirmed as a returning character in the upcoming sci-fi blockbuster sequel The Matrix 4.
Not only is this yet another case of a dead character being revived for a belated sequel, this one is made even odder by the fact that the original trilogy's villain Hugo Weaving will not be returning, with the actor claiming he attempted to get in touch with the filmmakers but wasn't quick enough with an affirmative reply to their offer.
Only time will tell how Trinity manages to return to our screens, but here's hoping the Wachowski sisters can work out a way to bring back Agent Smith while they're experimenting with character revival. Maybe just give him a system update? Turn him off and on again?
