10 Actors You Wrongly Think Are In Movies

4. Tom Hardy - Star Wars: The Last Jedi

After Daniel Craig made a well-publicised and quite noticeable appearance as a Stormtrooper in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it seemed like the sequel trilogy was set to have name actors show up disguised as Stromtroopers in each successive film as something of a running gag.

And with the many pre-release rumours that Tom Hardy would be appearing as such in The Last Jedi, a lot of fans just took it as a given that he was indeed in one of the Stormtrooper costumes somewhere in the movie.

But alas, that's not really the case.

Now, it is true that Hardy filmed a cameo as a Stormtrooper for the movie, but this cameo was actually cut during post-production, no matter that many persist that he is indeed still in the sci-fi sequel in some capacity.

The deleted scene did thankfully make its way online once The Last Jedi hit home video, but if you've ever watched the movie proper and assumed that Hardy was in the mix somewhere, you're actually wrong.
