She was the early choice for Black Widow, dropping out due to the dreaded scheduling conflicts, and then was offered the role of Peggy Carter but turned it down. Has she been holding out for a starring spot in the MCU? If so, this is her perfect chance, as Captain Marvel could become an important centerpiece for years to come.
