2. Scarlett Johansson - Avengers: Age Of Ultron

Much like Helena Bonham Carter, Scarlett Johansson knew about her pregnancy early enough in pre-production on Avengers: Age of Ultron that her scenes could be fast-tracked for the start of shooting.

But even with an expedited schedule, Johansson was still roughly four months pregnant by the time she started filming the role, and so a number of tricks were employed throughout the mega-budget production to conceal the pregnancy.

In some scenes, the actress' bump is simply hidden behind objects or she's shot in close-up, while elsewhere, stunt doubles and stand-ins were used, with Johansson's face reportedly even being digitally grafted onto her stand-ins.

Visual effects were also used to simply remove Johansson's bump entirely, as revealed in the recently released Infinity Saga box set, which includes a pre-VFX version of the film's closing exchange between Black Widow (Johansson) and Captain America (Chris Evans), where her baby bump is very much visible.

CGI was cleverly used to tighten up Widow's stomach area and basically make her look every bit the lithe, fighting-fit superhero fans would expect - and fans were none the wiser.
