1. Laura Palmer Wrapped in Plastic (Twin Peaks)
Another Twin Peaks character reference here to finish this list. If you are a fan of the show there are so many characters you could potentially dress up in from this classic, scary TV show. How about Dale Cooper, Leland Palmer, Audry Horne, Windom Earle, MIKE, The Man From The Other Place or if you really wanted to scare everyone (particularly me) you could always dress up as BOB? But one of the easiest costumes to make and one of the most easily recognizable and effective (other than the log lady) would be to go as the deceased Laura Palmer from the pilot episode- the character who the main characters in the series spend most of their time trying to figure out who killed her. All you would need for this costume would be some blue lipstick, a blue eye shadow spread over your face and a large sheet of plastic wrapped around you. TV fans would get the iconic reference without any other clues and people who are unaware of the show would still appreciate a murdered corpse when they see it. If you were to go with a friend and get them to fairly easily dress up as Agent Dale Cooper this would immediately make this Laura Palmer costume make a lot more sense. If you have yet to watch the show it is probably a good idea to do this before next Halloween just to open up a whole new world of "Halloween" type characters you could go to next year. A Twin Peaks themed Halloween party would be super awesome. Any other suggestions or cool Film/TV ideas you'd like to suggest? I'd love to hear them all below in the comments section. Maybe you will inspire someone this Halloween. I'd love to hear if this list inspires you...
