A Field In England is set during the English Civil war during the 17th century and follows a small group of deserters who are captured by an alchemist and forced to search a field for hidden treasure but not before consuming a vast amount of mushrooms of the magic variety... at this point things get a little weird. The cast is full of unsung British talent like Julian Barratt, Reece Shearsmith and Michael Smiley, and with Wheatley on a roll, hopes are high that this could be the film that puts the director on the international filmmaking map. If you like to know what to expect when you go the cinema though, released in April, is the remake of Brian DePalmas 1976 horror Carrie. Chloe Grace Moretz plays Carrie in the remake, a bullied girl with telekinetic abilities who is pushed over the edge on prom night and goes on a violent and bloody mission of vengeance. Julianne Moore plays her completely stable and not scary at all mother
