10 Amazing Recent Movies That Were 90 Minutes Or Less

7. Sasquatch Sunset

The world has never seen a movie quite like Sasquatch Sunset before - a true one-of-a-kind absurdist drama starring Jesse Eisenberg and Riley Keough as two members of a family of sasquatches living their life in the wilderness of Northern California.

Much as it might sound like a ripe idea for a skit or short film, this is indeed a full-throated 88-minute feature, which unfolds entirely without conventional dialogue - just the various hoots and bleats the sasquatches make.

The result is a fascinating experiment, with Eisenberg and Keogh donning transformative makeup and prosthetics to well and truly become their characters, while required to emote largely through sounds, body language, and facial expressions.

This is an unexpectedly thoughtful and ultimately emotional film which dares to take itself seriously even when its premise seems so inherently silly.

That it works, and largely manages to sustain at feature-length, is nothing short of a miracle - a testament to the talents of the cast and crew.
