10 Awesome Robert Pattinson Movies To Watch Before The Batman

3. The Childhood Of A Leader

The directorial feature debut of Brady Corbet, The Childhood of a Leader follows the early life of an eventual fascist leader post World War I.

Pattinson plays a family friend of the child in the dark hard-hitting drama, showing much more serious capabilities of his acting range outside of bizarre arthouse flicks.

The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2015 and won both Best Debut Film and Best Director. The film was sadly squandered by its distributor's bankruptcy a few days before its UK release and was distributed quietly a few weeks later instead. But if you have access to it, it's definitely worth a watch.
