10 Awesome Slasher Films You've Probably Never Seen

5. My Little Eye

So, this is a little bit of a cheat. My Little Eye probably doesn€™t technically count as a slasher. Yes, lots of young people die, and yes, they all make fairly stupid decisions throughout the film, but it€™s a little more engineered than most. Although saying that, The Cabin in the Woods counts as a slasher, so let€™s take a cue from that. My Little Eye was made as a sort of response to reality shows like Big Brother, and is about five people who agree to live together in a house for six months, whilst being filmed at all times, for $1million. Everything€™s been going swimmingly until Bradley Cooper shows up as a sketchy drifter with a backpack covered in blood, but the contestants don€™t sweat it because they€™re all a bit thick. That€™s when people start to die. At first it€™s just a simple murder that€™s staged as a suicide, so the others don€™t panic so much. Then it gets a bit brutal. My Little Eye is a damn smart film that recognisably British in execution, and a great antidote to (or example of?) reality TV gone mad.

Fan of Taylor Swift and the Dead Kennedys (a duet I can only dream of). I like dystopias, slasher films, and video games that make me feel things.
