10 Awful Films Game Of Thrones Actors Want Us To Forget
3. Peter Dinklage - Death At A Funeral
A film so awful they made it twice. Peter Dinklage signed onto this project not only for the first outing but the subsequent American remake. Both films are bad, but the reimagining especially took the already offensive project and made it even less subtle than it was to begin with.
The concept is a rather interesting premise, as a family attend the funeral of their patriarch only to have many secrets about his life exposed to them. The plots of both movies follow the same beats, and neither one presents something good.
Dinklage's role in both films tends to be very problematic, as he is revealed to be the secret gay lover of the deceased. This is played in an unsubtle and offensive way where the comedy revolves around overt stereotypes. It was already problematic during its original release, but time has made both of these productions and his role in them worse.
Dinklage is known now for being a dignified and respected performer, and films like this completely contrast his image, and as such, it's something he should want to be wiped from people's memories.
