10 Awful Films Star Wars: Force Awakens Actors Want You To Forget

5. This Is Where I Leave You (2014) - Adam Driver

RottenTomatoes Score: 41% The Plot: The Altman family gathers together to perform the week-long Jewish ritual of Shiva for their recently-deceased father, with the four grown children (Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Corey Stoll and Driver) being forced to confront their various personal woes along the way. Why It Sucks: Despite an interesting enough premise and excellent cast, Shawn Levy's drama is just too by-the-numbers and forgettably bland to recommend. Nobody outright embarrasses themselves, but nobody really earns their paycheck either: the contrivances pile on the longer the pic runs, and by the end you'll probably wonder why you bothered in the first place. Just like the rest of the cast, Driver isn't horrible, though the end result surely isn't the same project he envisioned when he first signed up. It just doesn't pop, and thus it conjures more snores than laughs or tears. Like the lucky few though, it's dull enough to be quickly forgotten and live out its days as Netflix fodder.
