8. Anya Taylor-Joy (Gina Gray) - The New Mutants

Retreat Cillian Murphy
Disney

In this X-Men spin-off, five young mutants are taken to a special facility after they develop their powers. As time goes by, the teenagers begin to suspect the facility is not what it seems.

The production of The New Mutants wasn't just chaotic; it was Justice League chaotic.

Characters were written out, scenes were reshot and then removed, and the release date changed five times. And in the end, it was still a complete turd - filled with predictable twists, unintentionally hilarious moments, accents that border on parody, and an unambitious plot.

If you're a fan of Anya Taylor-Joy, you might want to check it out just for her sake. Unfortunately, her part here is unbearable since her character Ilyana Rasputin keeps churning out racial slurs.

Not only is this disrespectful, it completely goes against the character from the comics. It's also illogical that a mutant who's hated for being different would hate someone for being different. What's worse is we, as an audience, are meant to root for her!

Taylor-Joy is a phenomenal actress and shouldn't have wasted her talent on such a badly written character.
