5. Don't Go Near The Park (1979)
Don't go near the park! Don't go online shopping! Don't order this film! Don't put it in your DVD player! This is another tame and lame Nasty that baffled me when I first watched it a couple of years back. The story line of ancient cannibals who regenerate themselves by feasting on the flesh of fresh young things is inane and the gore set pieces are laughably stupid. It is always the abdomen that gets ripped open, with alarming ease, and its contents chowed upon. The acting just doesn't exist. Furthermore the film is diabolically sleazy with hints of incest and paedophilia. The first Nasty I ever watched on The Horror Film Channel and the biggest let down as well as being the most silly. A support group is required for those of us who have watched it. Yes I know your pain.
