4. Baby Driver - The Opening Car Chase

There's a lot of spectacular driving in Edgar Wright's terrific crime caper, but it arguably peaks in the first ten minutes, as The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion's "Bellbottoms" blares out while Doc's gang pulls off their latest bank heist and rushes back to Baby, their getaway driver.

Cue a dizzingly impressive escape sequence as Baby runs red lights and thoroughly outclasses the pursuing police force, all while Wright's typically dynamic camerawork and editing captures the insanity in the most stylish means possible.

The coup de grace just might be when Baby disappears into a tunnel and switches positions with two other red cars, allowing him to escape from a police chopper and quickly disappear without a trace.

It perfectly sets the tone for the rest of the movie, even if the film's other chases and feats of vehicular necromancy aren't quite as jaw-dropping.
