Don't get it wrong, the most recent Children of the Corn movie is total trash, but that's not to say it doesn't have a couple of decent kills dotted throughout. And a particular one that fits this list is the death of Pastor Penney.

With the adults of Rylstone by this point locked up in a jail cell after the town's youngsters have gone full-on maniacal, the logic here is that the grown-ups are to be punished for voting to destroy the local corn crops so that they can receive a government pay-off. Enraged, it's Eden as the kiddo leading the nefarious charge here, with Eden an orphan who Pastor Penney took in.

So, when Penney arrives on the scene to plead with Eden to stop this scheme, she listens to him, for Penney actually voted against destroying the crops, meaning he isn't responsible for this "sin" against the corn. Unfortunately, Eden points out that Pastor Penney "did sin, didn't ya?", alluding to something heinous having happened with this man of the cloth.

At that moment, Pastor Penney knows he's done for, and he's soon set on by the children as Eden plucks out his eyes with a blade.
