10 Best Horror Comedy TV Shows You Need To See

6. Psychoville

Psychoville clown
BBC

A hook-handed clown. A blind man and his carer. A nurse and her plastic baby. A wannabe psychopath and his creepy mother (plus their serial killer fascination).

What brings such a disparate gang of weirdos, monsters and creeps together? A shared secret calls on a group of seemingly unrelated strangers, sending their lives spinning out into a dark downward spiral. Keep an eye out for Get Out star Daniel Kaluuya in an early role as carer 'Tealeaf'. We always knew that guy would go far.

League of Gentlemen creators and stars Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith brought us this black comedy thriller, drawing inspiration from classic horror and their dark comedy influences. Not only is it very funny, it's also extremely disturbing in places - not now, Silent Singer!

Be sure to check out Pemberton and Shearsmith's anthology series Inside No. 9 too. Not only is it bloody great genre television in its own right, but the latest series also delivers a surprise Psychoville sequel in the episode Death Be Not Proud.
