The Predators are one of the deadliest alien hunters in the history of cinema. We've seen them take down special forces squads, LA's most dangerous inhabitants, and even indigenous tribes. But in 2004's Alien Vs. Predator, we saw these extra-terrestrials go up against the most dangerous species in the galaxy, the Xenomorphs.

Though we've seen the Predator exhibit an honor code such as sparing children and pregnant women, AVP was the first time the creatures were seen as somewhat heroic. And while we get some grisly human kills, the Alien proves to be too much for our hunters which is why the lead Predator, Scar, decides to team up with hero Lex Woods.

The two manage to hit it off with Scar teaching her tactics and even handing her his weapons, a big deal in Predator culture. Eventually, the pair blow up a Xenomorph hive which angers the Alien Queen and leads to the film's climactic battle where Lex and Scar work together to kill the creature, but at the cost of the Predator's life.

Still, the honor of working with Scar as well as killing a Queen gains Lex the lifetime respect of a Predator clan who gives her a spear as a token.
