If you thought you'd seen it all when it comes to zombie movies, then you haven't seen Train to Busan. Whilst it obviously follows the base guidelines of infected undead ravaging society as we know it, the film uproots its horror and transposes it onto a commuter train - the scariest place of all - resulting in some of the most claustrophobic and nerve-jangling sequences put to screen in horror.

The film centres around poor Gong Yoo, who is trapped on said train attempting to take his estranged daughter to Busan. Only when they're aboard does a strange virus sweep through Korea, resulting in one infected person managing to board the train and spread it to its occupants as they speed to their destination.

Train to Busan expertly weaves action and suspense into its terrifying premise, making for a kinetic, unstoppable horror movie that hits like a runaway train as much as it depicts one. If you need inspiration for a kick ass zombie make up, then look no further than this title.
