In this movie, we see stories take place on the fabled 31st of October, interwoven by their connection to a Halloween entity going by the name of Sam.
Dressed in footie pyjamas and wearing a burlap sack over his face, Sam isn't your average reveller for the evening despite his spooky appearance. Instead, he crops up each time someone breaks Halloween 'rules' and dishes out a suitable punishment in turn.
A school principal has a murderous pass time, a demonic visitor greets a hermit, and a prank goes too far among the plentiful antics of the evening, all with creepy little Sam watching from the sidelines as those involved disrespect the season's customs with frightful consequences.
