10 Best MCU Deleted Scenes EVER

6. Life In The Quantum Realm - Ant-Man And The Wasp

Given that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is due to hit cinemas next year, that title alone suggests we'll get to see a lot more of the MCU's Quantum Realm. But in a case of 'what could've been', we so nearly got more details on that realm in Ant-Man and the Wasp back in 2018.

With Michael Douglas' Hank Pym heading into the Quantum Realm to save his wife Janet (Michelle Pfeiffer) in that sequel offering, a deleted scene showcased a little more than what we ultimately got in the cinematic cut of the picture.

In Ant-Man and the Wasp, little screen time was spent in the Quantum Ream itself, and while this deleted scene didn't add an enormous amount of time to the QR, it did flesh out the Quantum Realm in a major way.

This cut sequence had Janet van Dyne detail to her husband how there's a lot more to the Quantum Realm than anyone had dared dream, specifically noting there were "worlds upon worlds, entire civilisations" all housed within this realm.

Instead, those watching the final version of Ant-Man and the Wasp ended up feeling like Janet had just spent years trapped in some sort of bland limbo, stuck in time and space, with nothing to keep her company but her own dwindling sanity.
