10 Best MCU Weapons
2. Stormbreaker
While it might not be as iconic as Mjolnir, Stormbreaker is superior in virtually every conceivable way.
First of all, let's just address the obvious: axe. It's an axe, people. Who doesn't love a good axe?
Second of all: it's also a hammer. It's a dual-headed weapon, so you don't lose the smash factor you had with Mjolnir.
Stormbreaker is also much larger and longer than Mjolnir, giving the wielder a greater reach advantage, which - in turn - arms them with the power of leverage and momentum. In the most fundamental areas of melee weaponry (versatility, size, etc.), Stormbreaker is clearly the better weapon. It's comprised of Uru, as well, so it's basically indestructible.
It's similar to Mjolnir in a few ways. Like Mjolnir, Stormbreaker will return to your hand after throwing it. It also allows the wielder to summon, control, and direct lightning. In this respect, it at least matches Mjolnir. Unlike Mjolnir, however, you don't have to spin Stormbreaker in order to fly. You don't need to be worthy to wield it, either. It can also summon the Bifrost, which Mjolnir couldn't do.
Eitri stated that it was intended to be the strongest weapon in Asgard's history, and it looks like it measures up.
Also, a Groot handle? That's always nice.
