10 Best Movies Actors Did After Harry Potter
4. Eye In The Sky – Alan Rickman (Severus Snape)
Eye in the Sky is another film that’s heavy on suspense. The story focuses on a military operation aiming to take down several terrorists in Nairobi (Kenya) through the use of drones.
Whilst military-based films often have a large scope, Eye in the Sky is centred on a small team. There’s only a handful of characters, and a lot of them spend the entire movie staring at monitors. Yet the story works due to the strength of the performances and the believability of the screenplay.
The film is full of exceptional talent. As well as the brilliant Alan Rickman, Eye in the Sky also features Helen Mirren, Aaron Paul, Barkhad Abdi, and Iain Glen. All these actors nail their respective roles and they bring plenty of humanity to the ethical debate surrounding drone warfare.
There’s very little to criticise about Eye in the Sky. It’s a suspenseful thriller with an interesting theme and a remarkable cast. This film also happened to be Rickman’s last live-action role, and his legendary on-screen career certainly ended on a high.
