In Imperium, Radcliffe plays an undercover FBI agent called Nate who has to integrate himself with a group of Neo-Nazis in Washington D.C.

As such, many of the characters are repulsive. As well as their hatred for ethnic minorities, they believe in the superiority of Aryans and wish to start a race war in the United States. But these white supremacists also create a lot of tension. The threat of being discovered hangs over Nate throughout the film, and if he’s caught by these men, the consequences would be fatal.

It’s not a film you’ll want to watch again in a hurry due to how vile most of the characters are, but it will have you on the edge of your seat.
