10 Best Musical Themes From Live-Action Marvel Movies

7. Iron Man 3 (2013)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYKec-R8Nxw Outside of linking the character with the songs of AC/DC, most viewers would be hard-pressed to remember or hum anything catchy about the scores provided by Ramin Djawadi and John Debney for the first two Iron Man films. For a character who had become a household name overnight, it was kind of amazing that he had no familiar theme to go along with his recognition in the way that so many people once connected -- and still continue to connect -- Batman with Danny Elfman's famous march. While composer Brian Tyler doesn't come close to hitting that level of success, his arrival into the franchise at least heralded the introduction of a consistent, noteworthy theme for the character. The theme goes through several variations across the film, most enjoyably during its wacky, retro end credits sequence. Although debate about the merits of the film itself is still raging on, Tyler's theme is suitably infectious and catchy, though the fact it had to come so late into the franchise will keep most people from instantly identifying it with the character had it been around longer.
