8. Wrong Turn
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naUUyD-_oPc Number of films: 5 Many will call Wrong Turn a run of the mill slasher flick, which for the most part it is, but the series has spawned has still retained a certain air of quality centered around its very gruesome effects. The plot may be microscopic and the acting cheesy in places, but the series has kept on feeding us more of the good stuff - blood, guts, gore and carnage. So some other entries higher up also manage this well and many did it more spectacularly, but for me the Wrong Turn series still has enough of the right ingredients to be a decent, modern slasher series.
