4. Bill Cosby Headed Back To TV

The Cosby Show Three decades after reviving the television sitcom and striking ratings gold at NBC, Bill Cosby is returning to the network to do it again. NBC has been going through a bit of a rough patch with their comedies and are looking to the legend to kick things back into gear, by doing what he does best. Cosby will star as the patriarch of a multi-generational family, and will "channel his take on marriage and parenting." Cosby is re-teaming with producer Tom Werner, who was one of the producers on The Cosby Show. Cosby promises "a married couple that acts like they love each other, warts and all; children who respect the parenting, and the comedy of people who make mistakes. Warmth and forgiveness." That's all well and good, but we'll see how much of Cosby's feel-good charm will hold up with modern, angsty audiences. In any case, it will be great to see Cosby back on TV and we hope he can recapture some of that Cosby Show greatness. Source: Deadline
