Kebbell Huston At first we were a bit wary about the idea of a Ben-Hur remake, but the cast alone is staring to ease our worries. Morgan Freeman has already signed on, and this week Toby Kebbell and Jack Huston came on board. Kebbell, who played Koba in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and is playing Doctor Doom in Fantastic Four is in talks to play Ben-Hur's villain, Messala. Huston, on the other hand, known for roles in Boardwalk Empire, Eastwick, and Kill Your Darlings, has landed the coveted role of the film's titular star, Ben-Hur. Directed by Wanted and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter's Timur Bekmambetov, the remake of the 1959 seminal classic is reportedly returning to the biblical source material for a new take on the story.
