10 Biggest Questions Surrounding Upcoming Movies

2. Is Sony's Marvel Universe Actually In The MCU? (Morbius)

For the last several years, we've heard conflicting details about whether or not Sony's Marvel movies - including 2018's Venom, its upcoming sequel, and the upcoming Morbius/Kraven The Hunter projects - exist within the same world as the MCU.

In 2017, Kevin Feige said that there were no plans to fold Venom into the MCU, but literally a few days later, Amy Pascal - who produces Sony's Marvel movies - claimed that they will "all be in the same world." Thanks for the confusion guys!

In 2018, Venom came and went with no firm confirmation of an MCU connection, but one year later, the trailer for Morbius appeared to seal the deal, showing us a picture of Spider-Man graffitied on a wall, while also revealing that Michael Keaton's Vulture - the villain in Spider-Man: Homecoming - will have a role in the film.

But the question still remains: how deep will the connection between these two cinematic universes actually go?

Will Tom Holland's Spider-Man appear in Venom: Let There Be Carnage? Will Venom show up in Avengers 5? Or will it be like Netflix's Marvel shows, which were kinda sorta in the MCU... but not properly in the MCU.

Once again, perhaps the answer lies in the multiverse, allowing Sony's characters and Disney's characters to flit between cinematic universes, while, at the same time, keeping those universes separate. That way, everybody wins.
