10 Biggest Unconfirmed Rumours About 2018 Movies

6. There's A Hogwarts Scene - Fantastic Beasts 2

Harry Potter Hogwarts
Warner Bros. Pictures

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them 2 will continue Newt Scamander's story while fully introducing characters like Gellert Grindelwald, and a younger version everyone's favourite now-dead wizard, Albus Dumbledore.

But what everyone really wants - whether they'll admit it or not - is for this franchise to contain more nods, references and connections to the Harry Potter saga. But, besides the inclusion of Dumbledore, we haven't yet heard of any tangible links between the two. Until now.

A video posted to Chipper Videos' YouTube channel in August shows what appears to be a film crew set up at Lacock Abbey, England.

This location has been used to film Hogwarts scenes in Harry Potter movies in the past, including Harry's encounter with the Mirror Of Erised in The Philosopher's Stone.

However, a reader over at TheLeakyCauldron.org, who lives near Lacock Abbey, supposedly enquired about the nature of the shoot and was told it was for a "period costume drama". That doesn't necessarily rule out Fantastic Beasts, but it's far from a confirmation.

In any event, a random film crew shooting at Lacock doesn't really constitute hard evidence, so until we see a trailer (or hear from an official source on the matter), Hogwarts appearing in Fantastic Beasts 2 is just a possibility.
