10 Biggest Unconfirmed Rumours About 2019 Movies

5. Chameleon And Molten Man Will Appear - Spider-Man: Far From Home

Before the release of virtually any comic-book movie, there's a tendency to worry when we learn that multiple villains may be involved. Movies like The Amazing Spider-Man 2 haven't exactly inspired confidence that a bevy of bad guys can truly work to a film's gain, and on the whole, superhero movies with fewer antagonists tend to work better.

Then again, a movie could have lots of villains in smaller roles or cameos, so it's important to reserve judgement until we actually see it. This is very much true for Spider-Man: Far From Home - with Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio set to take center-stage and Michael Keaton's Adrian Toomes also expected to appear, the movie is already pulling double-duty in the villains department, but that might not be it.

If the rumour mill is to be believed, the duo of Chameleon and Molten Man will also show up in the movie. Chameleon rumours were sparked when Turkish-born actor Numan Acar joined the project as a character called "Dimitri" - and Dmitri Smerdyakov just so happens to be Chameleon's alter-ego in the comics. Coincidence?

As for Molten Man, whispers of his involvement stem from a report by MCUCosmic, who stated that a Molten Man action figure is apparently being produced in time for the film. The site did note that toys can be produced for characters who don't even show up, so there is a chance Molten Man isn't even featured.

There are also rumours that Hydro Man will pop-up somewhere, making Far From Home feel worryingly overstuffed. Hopefully that's not the case.
