And would you believe that this movie marked the end of the National Lampoon brand? The movie begins with Randy Quaid as Eddie Johnson and nobody else you know, because that's what happens when you make a movie for around $2 million bucks. Through an increasingly bizarre turn of events, Eddie is sent on a dream vacation - only it's not a dream vacation, 'cause this is a movie, and those don't exist. They get shipwrecked, basically, and then the laughs are supposed to begin. But they never do. They... never... do....
