10 Characters Who Could Be The Villain For Ant-Man 3
1. An Original Character
Given that a majority of characters on this list usually fight other superheroes, it's safe to say that Ant-Man and the Wasp don't have that impressive of a rogues gallery. The likes of the Scarlet Beetle, the Porcupine, and the Hijacker will never appear in the MCU, nor should they.
If Doctor Doom and Green Goblin end up fighting their usual heroes, Taskmaster and Egghead are dead, AIM and Crossfire remain inactive, and Red Queen, Power Broker, and Whirlwind are all deemed too obscure for a movie, what should Marvel do about an Ant-Man 3 villain? Make someone up.
Aside from Phil Coulson, the MCU characters mostly have some connection to the comics, however loose it may be. An original character acting as the main antagonist could be a unique move to separate Ant-Man 3 from the rest of the MCU. They could be connected to Mitchell Carson's Pym Particle theft in the first film, or Sonny Burch's mysterious donor in the second.
Maybe this mystery new character could become Ant-Man and the Wasp's most iconic enemy yet, though the competition, like the title characters, is pretty small.
