10 Comedy Actors Who Have Never Been Funny

5. Charlie Sheen

charlie-sheen Oh, look, it's Charlie Sheen. He used to be a serious actor, and then he became a comedy actor, and that's funny, isn't it? Actually, I'm not sure it is, and that's the kind of the schtick that's been associated with Sheen's career since he made the switch to comedy in the 80s, schtick that's officially worn itself out. Sheen was once the star of TV's Two And A Half Men, a show that - to this day - still baffles me in its general unfunniness, despite the fact that it seems to be pretty popular, especially in the US. Sheen played an unlikable character with about as much dimension as a small cardboard box. Talk about one-note. Recently, Sheen became a kind of bizarro-world icon, somebody who made it so easy to laugh at him, that everybody just went ahead and started doing it. Drugs and mental health issues turned Sheen into a catchphrase-spouting machine ("Winning!"), and though the media got tired of this, like, really quickly, one thing remained the same: Sheen not being particularly funny.
