10. Hawkeye (Marvel Cinematic Universe)

Okay, so Jeremy Renner has had plenty of screen time so far - he was a staple part of the plot in the Avengers movie - but the fact is it wasn't Hawkeye for most of it. The role of Clint Barton was wasted by having him defect to Loki's side under the influence of the villain's sceptre. Indeed, even Renner himself has expressed his disappointment with the role:
"At the end of the day, 90% of the movie, I'm not the character I signed on to play. I'm literally in there for two minutes."
He has expressed a clear desire to have Hawkeye portrayed as the good, heroic character he has so long been in the comics.
"I prefer the good, because if we go to the evil part, or hypnotised or whatever the heck you want to call it, it's kind of a vacancy. Not even a bad guy, because there's not really a consciousness to him."
So, given that the actor himself has expressed disappointment at the amount of screen time devoted to the actual Hawkeye character, it's fair to say he deserved more.
