7. Sinestro (Green Lantern)
Although Sinestro had a decent amount of screen time in Green Lantern, the fact is that he was the best thing (perhaps the only half decent thing) about the movie and he definitely deserved more. In the post-credits scene, Sinestro is seen removing his Green Lantern ring and replacing it with a Yellow Lantern ring (known, of course, as a Sinestro Corps ring in the comics), but there wasn't enough development in the feared side of his character throughout the movie to justify it. We all know (as comic fans) that Sinestro is a being capable of instilling fear on a massive scale, but anyone watching this movie as a non-comic book fan would've been left wondering how the hell a Green Lantern is "scary" enough to don and utilise such a weapon. Also, although it seems unlikely to happen now, if the intent was to make Sinestro the big threat in the next Green Lantern movie, he really wasn't presented as powerful enough, as cool as the character was - he really needed to have done more.
