10 Comic Book Movie Characters Who Deserved More Screen Time

8. Galactus (Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer)

GalactusCloud Although the... character (can we call it that?) of Galactus in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer was massacred by its depiction as an enormous planet-devouring cloud, there certainly should have been more focus on it. Literally all we saw of what is supposed to be one of the most fearsome and powerful characters in comic book history was a shadow (in the shape of the helmet worn by the true Galactus in the comics) and a short sequence at the end in which, while in its horrific cloud form, it began to devour the Earth prior to being thwarted by its own herald - the Silver Surfer. It would just have been better if we could have learned more about his motives (obviously comic book fans will know that he needs to feed on planet-sized energy sources to survive, but that wasn't explored at all) and actually giving the character some dialogue might have made his inclusion that little bit more worthwhile. Of course, this version clearly didn't have a mouth with which to speak, so that might have been difficult... Essentially, it's just baffling why such a character was so criminally wasted and under-utilised. He could have been so much better and should have appeared much more than he actually did.
