10 Comic Book Movie Plots That Rely On Idiotic Decisions

10. Emil Blonsky Decides To Pit Himself Against The Hulk (The Incredible Hulk)

After General Ross discovered that Bruce Banner had been living in Brazil, he sent a team of soldiers led by war veteran Emil Blonsky to capture him. During the team's assault, Banner transformed in to the Hulk and Blonsky, having witnessed it, became obsessed with both the power of the Hulk itself and pitting himself against the massive green monster - and that turned out to be a stupid choice and the plot of the movie. After tracing him to Culver University back in the United States of America - and having been given a dose of the faulty super soldier serum - Blonsky decided to face the Hulk alone and ended up getting kicked in to a tree for his troubles, breaking every bone in his body. He would, of course, heal from the wounds thanks to the serum, and his obsession with taking the Hulk down would lead him to demand an injection of the Hulk's blood from Samuel Sterns, which subsequently turned him - permanently and unable to transform back in to a human like Bruce Banner - in to a hideous monster.
