10 Crazy Movie Endings You Didn't Believe

6. Sharknado

The Sharknado franchise is one that's now fondly thought of for its sheer insanity and for outdoing its own craziness from film to film.

Back in 2013, the first Sharknado movie set the bar on what audiences could expect from this nuts concept. Just the premise of 'sharks in tornadoes' was enough to have people expecting something a little unusual from that film, yet the ending of Sharknado was so shockingly bonkers that it left audiences perplexed as to what they'd just seen.

After Cassie Scerbo's Nova had managed to fight off a shark, she goes and falls from a helicopter right into the mouth of another flying shark. Not content with that quirky convenience, Sharknado then sees Ian Ziering's Fin dive directly into a final falling shark, with Fin chainsawing his way out of this beast - which also happens to be the one and the same shark that Nova had been gobbled up by.

Still with us? Good!

Thankfully, Fin's heroic, chainsaw-wielding actions saw him yoink a barely conscious Nova from out of the shark's guts and to safety.

Just reading those sentences back is enough to make you feel drunk, but upon a first watch the ending of Sharknado had you questioning whether what you'd seen was complete and utter garbage, or whether that closing act had veered towards 'so bad it's good' territory.
