10 Creepiest Movie Mistakes Ever
2. Imogen Poots' Non-Matching Reflection - That Awkward Moment
That Awkward Moment is a totally frothy rom-com which came and went in 2014 without much of a peep, and most people who saw it upon release likely have few lingering memories of it today.
It's the last place you'd expect to see something scary, and yet, this totally bizarre mistake was recently noticed by a watchful Redditor.
During a scene where Ellie (Imogen Poots) is hanging out with Jason (Zac Efron) at a coffee shop, Ellie's reflection in the shop window doesn't always match what she's actually doing in reality.
It's the sort of thing you'd expect to see in a horror movie like Hereditary, not a disposable rom-com such as this.
On a technical level, we're left to assume that something went wrong with the real reflection in the original take - a visible camera or crew member, perhaps? - and so a reflection from another take was superimposed over the top, maybe?
Granted, it took people almost seven years to notice this, so it's hard to get too mad about it, incredibly weird though it undeniably is.
Once you know it's there, you'll never watch the scene the same way again.
