10 Most Cringeworthy Moments In The Harry Potter Movies

7. The Dance - Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows

Something that wasn't included in the book, and for good reason, was the ill-judged "dance scene" that sees Harry Potter and Hermione Granger cosying up to one another during the brief period where they're living in a tent and Ron is off elsewhere (don't ask). Anyway, when things get a little sad, upon hearing some appropriate music on the radio, Harry approaches Hermione, who is sitting in the corner of the tent with a face like a slapped arse, and extends a hand, as if to say: "Shall we dance, Madam?" What happens next was presumably supposed to be "lovely," but comes across as anything but because - let's face it - there's something cringeworthy about Harry Potter characters dancing with one another. Why would Harry ask Hermione to dance? Harry hates dancing. What if Ron were to walk in at such a crucial moment? He'd feel totally and utterly betrayed! It just wouldn't happen. This scene is almost as bad as the one in Spider-Man 3 where James Franco and Kirsten Dunst make an omelette whilst dancing to "Let's Twist Again." Almost. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFe0OR-Vaww
