10 Dangerous Movie Scenes You Won’t Believe Didn't Kill Anyone

1. Roar: Everyone Gets Bitten, Amazingly No One Dies

How did no one die during this movie? Roar really seems like it was planned and filmed as a way of covering up several murders. But no one died! Once again, how is this possible?

Much like Apocalypse Now there is no single dangerous scene in the film. Unlike Apocalypse Now we can see where the greatest danger lies as the film is about a family having to contend with over a hundred lions... and a few tigers... and a couple of elephants.

Roar is truly a spectacle and you can only really comfortably watch it in the knowledge that no-one was mauled to death, but the list of injuries from this film is enough to make even the most hardened individual squeamish.

An assistant director had his throat bitten open, one cinematographer was actually scalped and countless members of the cast and crew suffered from bites and clawing. The bites and claws were considered to be like scrapes and bruises for this film.

Star Tippi Hedren (who had only really needed to contend with fake birds up until this film) was once quoted as saying: “If we wanna make a movie with lions, people are gonna get bitten. We just hope that nobody dies and we’ll do everything we can to make sure that doesn’t happen.”
